JSpark8 is a non-load compensated direct ignition system that is developed for use in carburated motorsports applications. Widely used in folkracing.
JSpark8 can be used in 1,2,3,4,6,8 cylinder engines. It has 4 ignition outputs that enables wasted spark ignition on a 8 cylinder engine.
Easy to install to engines that has a trigger wheel from factory. You will need to connect power, trigger signal and ignition coil wiring to controller. Can be directly connected to ignition coils with internal driver. The spark output of the controller is a 5v signal for triggering ignition amplifier.
Tuning is done directly from controller without any need for a computer. JSpark controller has a small display and a rotary control knob for adjustments.
Device has multi language user interface. Currently available languages are English and Finnish.

You will need also:
- Ignition coil (and ignition coil wiring). We have good wiring crimpers in our shop to crimp connectors
- VR sensor (Usually the engine has this already)
- Trigger wheel (Usually the engine has this already)
The install of this direct ignition controller is easy BUT you will need a basic understanding of how the electric and spark systems work in a car to set this up.
